naval architecture & yacht design:
We offer a full range of design and naval architecture services, from
the conceptual phase of your yacht, through to detailed building
plans as well as production support or project management.
The
design process begins by creating a preliminary set of drawings
based on clients personal view of life on the sea. We create
concept 3D computer model which helps in visualization but at
the same time provides essential hydrostatic data. It is also
very important in preliminary phase to start with weight
estimate. That allows us to select right gear and equipment right at the beginning! Based on the weight study we
can provide speed prediction, calculate fuel consumption and
range of your yacht.
To have
a nice renderings or photorealistic images doesn’t mean your
yacht will meet your expectations. It is usually weight estimate
that “makes or brakes” any project!
At the
end of the preliminary process we deliver a set of plans,
specifications as well as 3D images that define your yacht and
are sufficient to get bids from boat-builders or shipyards.
We
finalize the project by finalizing the preliminary proposal.
Detailed building plans are produced as well as numeric cutting
templates if needed. We are able to deliver 3D models for NC cutting,
develop surfaces and net parts directly from our computer model.
We employ latest software in computer aided design and we use it
to the full extent!
Most of
our design and engineering is done in-house. This allows us to
keep the design fully integrated in concept and practice and
allows us to keep design costs within our control and within
your budget.
We have
participated on many important yacht project but we have also
unique advantage of having own projects afloat today!
